 1. I'll Emerge Victorious

I think about all I have yet to achieve. All my childhood dreams that are yet to manifest into reality. The thoughts worry me and add burden to my heart. I've got my parents I'm secretly trying to make proud, my sisters especially the younger ones who I'm pushing hard to set a good example for. Let's not forget about my little cousins, teachers, pastors, youth leaders, friends and the whole a yard. I lie when I say I don't get stressed or that I achieve simply for me. I strive to achieve not for me, but for them. What would it profit me to accumulate anything this tiny world has to offer and then keep it all to myself? It would profit me nothing.

This morning I rose before the sun sifting through possible options to further my ability to help the ones I love. During my attempt I began worrying which was evident in the headache that followed. I forgot all about the verses of Matthew where Christ instructs us not to worry and not to concern ourselves about the cares of the day that may follow. Instead He encourages us to live a life focused on His business and His righteousness. He encourages us to leave our load at His feet. A sensible saviour He is, overflowing with wisdom and compassion. He knows that we add no benefit to our lives when we sweat the seemingly 'big stuff' which to Him is but a small matter.

Notice I didn't say 'insignificant matter' I said 'small' which provides two varying concepts. To say that our matter is insignificant to God would mean that He only cares about some of our needs, concerns and feelings. This ideology is simply false as proven by 1 Peter 5:7. Nothing that may worry you or place a heavy load upon you is deemed in the eyes of God as irrelevant, a waste of His time, attention or power. However, all our needs in His hands are 'small'. Important, but small. Why? Because in the hands of a BIG GOD,
big in power, authority, wisdom, knowledge, understanding and might, our unsolvable problems are solved with ease.

Today I'm encouraged to let my needs be known to God as I seek His divine will and guidance for my life. Whether it be a new career, my education, relationships, health or finances I'll allow my GOD to be great in my life. Whenever worry sinks in I'll remember that with Christ I'll emerge victorious. Grace and peace.
